On March 23, 2020, the Digital Italy Authority published the guidelines for the electronic signing of documents in accordance with Article 20 of the Electronic Signature Law. These guidelines regulate a novel method for the electronic signing of digital documents through simple authentication in the so-called public digital identity management system for citizens and companies.
